Cambodian food is very similar to cuisine in its neighboring South-East Asian countries with rice featuring in nearly everything. Other ingredients such as lemongrass and coconut are also evident. Some local specialties include Cambodian Beef which is marinated beef thread onto skewers, Cambodian Sweet Soup which contains pork, eggs, soy sauce and bamboo shoots and Aromatic Black Tiger Shrimp.
